Job Title: Neighbourhood Group Worker

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Neighbourhood Group Worker to join our team at Lancashire County Council. As a Neighbourhood Group Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering our curriculum offer of quality groups and courses to support children, young people, and their families in our Central South Districts.

About the Role:
  • Deliver groups and courses to support children, young people, and their families in our Family Hubs, district community venues, and schools.
  • Work directly with children and young people, delivering our curriculum offer of quality groups and courses.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with children, young people, and their families to ensure they receive the right support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, schools, and multi-agency partners to deliver multi-agency support and build professional networks.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working with children, young people, and their families.
  • Good level of understanding of IT packages and ability to use our Management Information System.
  • Ability to record attendance at sessions, work on planning and evaluating groups and courses, and create interesting and informative handouts and public display boards.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality support to children, young people, and their families.
