We are seeking a skilled Production Operative to join our team at Swift Recruitment. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating a selection of manual and CNC based machinery for metal processing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing steel to customers' requirements and tolerances, working within our company's quality system to ensure full traceability of customer orders.
  • Understanding how to read drawings, orders, and following verbal instructions, being available to train others in this area.
  • Operating forklifts, Combilifts, and cranes safely and in a controlled manner.
  • Ensuring daily checks are performed on your equipment, crane, and forklift/Combilift, these are to be carried out before you start your shift.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a production or manufacturing environment, ideally with experience operating machinery.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production targets.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Valid driving license, ideally to easily access the site.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £24,500 - £31,500 per annum.
  • Overtime at time and a half.
