Café Service Associates operate in one of our nine bustling cafés located throughout the Durham University Campus.
As a Café Service Associate, you will collaborate with a team to deliver a courteous, professional, friendly, and efficient catering experience to students, staff, and visitors.
As part of the catering team, you will ensure that retail outlets are maintained to an exceptional standard, ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and safety in the work environment.
Dishwashing duties are included in this role, which involves operating an automatic dishwasher, and post-service, all food preparation areas must be cleared and sanitized.
Working in a catering setting requires a degree of physical activity, which may involve lifting and transporting food and catering supplies, including heavy dishes and utensils.
Specific Role InformationWe expect punctuality, flexibility, and a willingness to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
