Job Title: Embedded Software Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to join our team at MBDA UK Ltd. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for the development of current and future seeker systems.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in embedded software development, with experience in C programming and real-time systems. You will be working on the full life cycle of software development, from requirements capture to verification and testing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop embedded software for real-time systems
  • Implement and test software components
  • Collaborate with hardware and firmware teams to ensure seamless integration
  • Analyse system performance and integration
  • Develop software architecture and design
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in embedded software development
  • Strong proficiency in C programming
  • Familiarity with communication protocols (e.g. SPI, UART, Ethernet, PCI-Express)
  • Experience with software design methodologies (e.g. UML)
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
