Finance Manager Job Description

AD Finance is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team on a part-time basis. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for providing financial insights and support to our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts to provide a clear picture of our financial performance.
  • Collaborate with our accountants to ensure timely and accurate submissions of yearly accounts.
  • Oversee the preparation and filing of quarterly VAT returns to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and maintain accurate financial statements, including cash flow, profit & loss, and budget reports.
  • Conduct daily reconciliations of multiple accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Process payments, invoices, income, and receipts using Xero, maintaining precision in recording financial transactions.
  • Develop and maintain an accurate forecast budget for income and expenditure.
  • Establish and maintain professional standards in record-keeping, ensuring consistency, accuracy, and compliance.
  • Generate ad hoc reports as required, providing valuable financial insights to support decision-making.
  • Contribute to the financial planning process and participate in budget management and reporting.

Essential Requirements:

  • Professional Qualification ACCA/CIMA
  • Understanding or previous use of Xero
  • Minimum of 3 years within a similar finance role
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards

Salary Information: The salary for this role is based on a 3-day working week.
