This role is designed for a professional who is eager to contribute to a mid-sized Contract Research Organization (CRO) that is making significant strides in the field of niche therapeutics.
Company Background:
Our client is a dynamic CRO focused on innovative therapies, including vaccines, rare diseases, and neurology. Following a strategic acquisition, they are expanding their capabilities in vaccine studies and are seeking experienced professionals to lead these critical projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert leadership in Clinical Operations for complex projects.
- Facilitate effective communication with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
- Define team roles and responsibilities, ensuring clarity in project direction.
- Act as the primary liaison with clients and vendors, establishing effective communication protocols.
- Ensure projects are staffed appropriately, addressing any potential issues proactively.
- Oversee the development of study protocols and informed consent forms.
- Manage the site selection process, ensuring feasibility and workflow efficiency.
- Design and implement project-specific plans to maintain project timelines.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones across all functional areas.
- Support selected vendors throughout the project lifecycle, from contracting to training.
- Maintain project financial health through regular reviews and adjustments as necessary.
- Develop and nurture relationships with both new and existing clients.
- Ensure team members receive adequate training to fulfill their roles effectively.
- Mentor junior team members to foster their professional growth and ensure project success.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years of comprehensive project management experience within a CRO environment.
- At least 2 years of experience in vaccine research as a Global Clinical Project Manager.
