  • Provide expert advice on how to develop with heritage assets sustainably.
  • Assess the significance and setting of heritage assets.
  • Engage with colleagues, clients and the general public in a variety of environments.

Requirements:

  • Degree and/or post-graduate qualification in conservation, heritage or a related field, with demonstrable relevant experience.
  • A strong technical background relating to a wide range of historic buildings and areas, including designated and non-designated heritage assets.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of the legislative and policy framework for the historic environment and up-to-date knowledge of relevant guidance and case law.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary with great benefits.
  • The opportunity to work with heritage assets across a wide range of development scenarios.
  • A culture of trust, empowerment and autonomy over your work.
  • The opportunity to join a vibrant, forward-thinking national team with the support of friendly, approachable colleagues.
  • Hybrid working with the flexibility to work across one or more office hubs.
