The Company

MTrec Ltd Technical is a prominent and well-established manufacturer, recognized as a leader in its industry. Due to ongoing growth, we are seeking a skilled CNC Miller for a permanent position.

The Role

  • Set up and operate CNC machinery based on engineering specifications.
  • Program and manage CNC machines effectively.
  • Adhere to machine safety protocols at all times.
  • Ensure appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is utilized.
  • Oversee production processes and work scheduling.
  • Monitor product quality and assist in quality control measures.
  • Optimize productivity while minimizing machine downtime.
  • Generate performance reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis as required.
  • Maintain exemplary housekeeping standards within the machine shop.
  • Work on a 2-shift system, including early and late shifts (shift premium included in salary).
  • Enjoy a 4-day work week, from Monday to Thursday.
  • Early shift hours are from 06:00 to 15:45, and late shift hours are from 14:00 to 24:00, Monday to Thursday.
The Person

  • Must be a qualified and experienced miller.
  • Preference for candidates with experience using Mazak machinery.
  • Capable of setting, operating, and programming CNC machines.
  • Strong machining background with comprehensive knowledge and experience.
  • Self-motivated and dependable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Enthusiastic, determined, and reliable.
  • Completed an apprenticeship in a relevant field.
  • Experience in manufacturing development components in a tool room setting.
