Job Title: Maths Curriculum Manager

We are seeking an experienced Maths Curriculum Manager to join our team at Oldham Council. As a key member of our Curriculum Management team, you will be responsible for the management, development, and delivery of all aspects of Maths programmes across the Service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist and support the management of the Maths team, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Identify new developments, initiatives, and practices pertinent to the Maths curriculum, and implement them to enhance teaching and learning.
  • Contribute to data and financial monitoring procedures, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Support the development and review of the Self-Assessment Report and Quality Improvement Plan of the team, aligning with the Service Plan and Directorate objectives.
  • Ensure the implementation of all Service policies, promoting a culture of excellence and compliance.
Requirements:
  • Relevant teaching qualification at level 4, e.g., Cert Ed, PGCE, B.Ed.
  • Minimum of Level 4/5 subject specialism qualification in a relevant curriculum area.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with experience in curriculum development and management.
