We are thrilled to present an opportunity for a Renewable Heating Specialist to become part of our growing field team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in assisting our clients in transitioning to greener heating solutions through the installation of Midea air source heat pumps.
At Good Energy, our installation teams are dedicated to delivering exceptional quality and safety standards for our clients. We prioritize outstanding craftsmanship and compliance to ensure our customers experience top-tier service as they transform their heating systems.
During installations, you will collaborate closely with an Electrician and a Trainee Heating Engineer, providing mentorship and guidance to help develop their skills and expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a heating installation authority, showcasing your technical proficiency in installing Midea heat pumps.
- Work collaboratively with electrical engineers to guarantee safe, timely, and high-quality installations of heating systems.
- Uphold stringent safety, health, and environmental standards to ensure the well-being of yourself, our clients, and your colleagues.
- Commit to continuous personal and professional development, enhancing your technical knowledge and compliance awareness.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to improving safety, efficiency, and quality in all aspects of your work.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders effectively, ensuring seamless collaboration with other teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Adapt to changes in a fast-paced and evolving work environment.
- Exhibit a problem-solving mindset and a positive attitude, focusing on what is best for both the client and the organization.
You will possess excellent communication skills, confidently engaging with clients to explain the functionality of heating systems and addressing any inquiries they may have. As a seasoned installer and problem solver, you will adeptly navigate challenges to ensure a safe and high-quality service.
Essential Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in plumbing, heating, or engineering.
- Experience with unvented hot water systems.
- Core Domestic Gas Safety (CCN1) certification.
- Broad knowledge of health and safety practices.
- A valid full UK driving license.
- Experience with oil heating systems.
- Knowledge of LPG systems.
- Familiarity with renewable energy technologies.
- Understanding of water regulations.
- Experience in energy efficiency practices.
- Knowledge of MCS Regulations.
- Domestic heat pump installation and maintenance certification at Level 3.
