Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mobile App Developer to join our team as the first mobile developer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing our brand-new iOS application and leading development on Android in the near future.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop high-quality mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms
  • Collaborate with the Product Manager and Designer to create user-friendly and intuitive user experiences
  • Work with the backend team to design server/client APIs
  • Participate in UX testing and analysis
  • Develop and maintain clean, scalable, and efficient code
  • Contribute to architecture planning and trade-offs management
  • Estimate project timelines, resources, and costs
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest mobile technologies and trends

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of iOS development using Swift and Objective-C
  • Experience with Android app development
  • Good understanding of App Store Connect and provisioning/certificates
  • Knowledge of recent WWDC and Google I/O tech talks
  • Experience with unit/E2E/UI testing frameworks
  • Experience with code review and profiling tools
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have

  • Experience with real-time databases
  • Experience with backend or serverless technologies
  • Experience with educational products
  • Knowledge of recent WWDC and Google I/O tech talks
  • Knowledge-sharing experience (tech talks, articles, YouTube videos, etc.)
