Specialist Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist

About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Specialist Occupational Therapist/Physiotherapist to join our Wheelchair Services team. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing expert clinical leadership and service development.
The successful candidate will have a BSc degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy, current HCPC registration, and previous experience of working with patients with long-term or deteriorating medical conditions. You will also have experience of staff supervision, assessing for wheelchairs and/or postural equipment, and a current full UK driving licence.
Key Responsibilities:- Deputising for the clinical lead and providing guidance to and supervision of junior staff
- Using advanced clinical skills in the assessment of adults and children, and in the provision of complex wheelchairs with associated posture management and pressure management accessories
- Driving the quality of frontline services to our service users
- Balancing experience of supervising a team with a clinical caseload
- Full induction and training
