Design Manager

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Design Manager to join our team at Fawkes & Reece. We are a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor with a strong track record of delivering high-quality projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate the design process from inception through to completion, ensuring alignment with project goals, budget, and timelines.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop and refine design solutions that meet client requirements.
- Lead design reviews and identify and resolve design issues when they arise.
- Maintain strong communication with the project team and client.
- Ensure that design documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and well-coordinated with site operations.
- Experience as a Design Manager ideally working within a Tier 1 contracting environment.
- Strong understanding of design processes, construction techniques, and industry regulations.
- Possessing excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong planning and problem-solving ability.
- Competitive salary dependent on experience (75k - 95k).
