We are seeking a skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our team at Kin Vet Community as a Night Veterinary Surgeon. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing emergency and critical care to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Work as a sole charge Veterinary Surgeon, providing emergency and critical care to patients
- Consult with clients and provide advice on patient care
- Collaborate with the nursing team to provide high-quality patient care
- Record all owner contact and patient information to ensure continuity of care
- Care for inpatients throughout the night, adjusting treatments and carrying out diagnostics and procedures as necessary
- Confirm plans for the following day by writing patient kennel sheets and adjusting medications accordingly
- Contact inpatient owners overnight as necessary and contact all inpatient owners in the morning to update them on their animals' progress and plan
- Provide handover to the morning inpatient vet
