Blusource Professional Services Ltd is on the lookout for a Global Tax Strategist to spearhead their international tax initiatives. The successful candidate will be a proactive, detail-focused individual with a strong commitment to excellence.

Core Responsibilities:
  • Tax Authority Engagement: Develop and nurture robust relationships with tax authorities across the globe.
  • Tax Accounting Procedures: Prepare statutory accounts in accordance with UK regulations and US GAAP standards.
  • Corporate Tax Filings: Oversee the management of Group Relief and CIR submissions.
  • Research and Development Claims: Facilitate the annual claims process.
  • International Tax Compliance: Manage filings related to royalties and licensing fees.
  • Global Tax Collaboration: Coordinate with international advisors to ensure timely compliance.
  • Intercompany Transactions Management: Keep precise records of intercompany dealings.
  • US Tax Obligations: Administer Group tax payments, including State and Franchise tax obligations.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Supervise VAT, PAYE, and various tax returns.
  • Tax Calendar Oversight: Track and communicate critical updates and deadlines.
  • Tax Payment Forecasting: Maintain and relay forecasts for global tax payments.
  • Audit Assistance: Provide efficient responses to tax audits.
  • Specialized Support: Address historical tax issues and implement innovative systems.
  • Legislative Monitoring: Review changes in legislation and suggest necessary actions.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • Professional Background: Extensive experience in a tax-related role with in-depth knowledge of Corporation Tax.
  • International Accounting Knowledge: Preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to cultivate strong relationships and influence outcomes.
