About the Role:

T&K Associates Ltd is seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our team in a Permanent position. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for the mechanical assembly of products in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of valves and pipework
  • Assembly of Pneumatic and Electrical components
  • Instrument piping and instrumentation panel building
  • Fault finding and resolutions
  • Assisting with visits and inspections
  • Testing products
  • Working from engineering drawings and diagrams
  • Completing final inspections and quality testing

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in mechanical fitting or mechanical engineering
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
  • Knowledge of pipe fitting is desirable but not essential
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings
  • Able to take initiative
  • Attention to detail
  • Able to work under own initiative but also a team player
  • Willing to learn new skills and methods

Benefits:

  • Salary of £30,000 to £35,000 per annum with flexibility DOE

  • 37.5 hours per week: Monday to Friday 8.30am-4.30pm
