We are seeking a skilled professional to join TristoneNash Ltd as a Damp, Mould and Disrepair Surveyor. This is a home-based position with the requirement for regular site visits within a designated area.
The organisation is taking a proactive approach to addressing dampness and mould issues by creating a dedicated team to manage these cases from start to finish.
As a key member of this team, you will be responsible for:
- Collaborating with colleagues across the organisation to provide a comprehensive service to customers.
- Managing dampness and mould cases through to resolution, including conducting site inspections, ordering remediation works, and tracking progress.
- Working closely with contractors to instruct responsive repairs and ensure timely resolution.
- Providing exceptional customer service, delivering efficient resolution and clear next steps.
- Investigating and resolving construction-related defects to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Overseeing the delivery of dampness and mould remediation activities within the organisation.
- Contributing to performance reports and attending reviews with partners to drive feedback and proactive actions on team efficiency.
You will work closely with area surveyors, contractors, and solicitors to ensure seamless collaboration and effective case management.
To succeed in this role, we are looking for someone with:
- Proven experience in delivering maintenance services, preferably in the housing sector.
- A strong understanding of Decent Homes requirements and building regulations.
- Knowledge of building components, diagnosis of building defects, and relevant legislation.
- A minimum HNC level or equivalent professional experience/qualification in construction or property.
- A full UK driving license and ability to drive as required by the business.
