Position Summary: In response to heightened demand from key clients, the organization is looking to recruit a mechanical technician to enhance their team.
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:30
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform both preventative and corrective maintenance on various mechanical systems, including gearboxes, pumps, and piping.
- Execute installation and commissioning tasks.
- Conduct routine inspections and pressure tests on all machinery.
- Utilize and update Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) software while adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Ideally, candidates should possess an apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in mechanical fitting, engineering, or a related field.
- Previous experience in heavy engineering or high-paced production settings is preferred.
- Training or experience in confined space operations is advantageous.
- Experience in chemical manufacturing or a similar sector is beneficial but not mandatory.
