Job Description

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for:

Leading Electrical Design Efforts

  • Act as lead engineer on Company projects, studies, and initiatives.
  • Undertake the competent engineering of electrical systems in accordance with specified procedures and plans.
  • Supervise the activities of design teams to complete tasks to the required technical standards and project schedule.
  • Conduct short-term visits to operating sites and regional offices worldwide.
  • Prepare man-hour estimates and planning activities for proposals and projects as needed.
  • Evaluate the impact of new/modified legislation on plant design and performance.
  • Ensure all activities necessary to guarantee the design of a 'safe' plant are performed.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in technical and team leadership within a project environment, preferably in the Oil and Gas Industry.
  • Technical competence in all aspects of electrical engineering, including Power Generation, Distribution, and Transmission.
  • Experience in Concept, Basic/FEED, and Detail Engineering projects for Oil&Gas (on-shore and/or off-shore).
  • Familiarity with IEC standards and other International electrical standards, best practices, and value practices.
  • Experience with Electrical Transient Analysis Program (ETAP) and Microsoft office applications.
  • Excellent knowledge of the English language is required for in-depth analysis, technical presentations, and staying up-to-date with technical advancements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in design of Floating Units.
  • Certified for working offshore.
  • Working knowledge of Italian language.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
