Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced teacher to join our team as an Intervention Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality interventions to students in Year 4, working closely with the classroom teacher to ensure seamless delivery of lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted interventions to small groups of students, focusing on areas of need identified by the classroom teacher
  • Work closely with the classroom teacher to ensure interventions are aligned with the curriculum and meet the needs of all students
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing regular feedback to the classroom teacher and Phase Leader
  • Collaborate with the Class Teacher and Phase Leader to ensure effective communication and coordination of interventions
  • Ensure safeguarding is maintained at all times, adhering to school policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with small groups and delivering targeted interventions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and students
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meeting the needs of the school
