Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Soft Landscaping and Maintenance Manager to oversee our landscaping operations. This role involves managing teams effectively to uphold safety and quality standards in all work conducted.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise daily operations, ensuring teams work safely and meet high-quality benchmarks.
  2. Proactively identify and address site-related issues, complaints, or challenges.
  3. Oversee subcontractors on-site, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and profitability.
  4. Review and submit staff time sheets weekly to the accounts department.
  5. Develop and maintain maintenance schedules aligned with contracts and specifications.
  6. Organize labor resources efficiently, considering staff skills and qualifications.
  7. Manage staff performance, including behavior, workload, and attendance.
  8. Conduct probation reviews and annual appraisals for team members.
  9. Provide support for supervisors and team leaders as needed.
  10. Ensure all staff complete necessary safety briefings and training before commencing tasks.
  11. Compile and submit monthly maintenance reports detailing site progress and issues.
  12. Maintain open communication with clients and attend necessary meetings.
  13. Prepare quotes for additional work, ensuring accurate costings.
  14. Manage the procurement of materials required for landscaping projects.
  15. Maintain all vehicles and machinery in optimal condition.
  16. Conduct monthly safety audits and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  17. Coordinate seasonal maintenance tasks, including irrigation management.
  18. Assist in managing small-scale landscaping projects as required.
  19. Support the company’s sustainability initiatives and objectives.
