Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Grandir UK. As a key member of our nursery staff, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to our children, promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote a safe and nurturing environment that supports the well-being and development of children.
  • Assume key carer responsibilities for designated children, ensuring their individual needs are met and their progress is monitored.
  • Develop and implement engaging and stimulating activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless day-to-day management of the nursery environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that align with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Support and mentor students and unqualified staff to ensure delivery of high-quality childcare practice.

Requirements:

  • Level 2 or above in Early Years qualification.
  • Experience in a nursery setting, preferably with a focus on Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including split shifts and part-time hours.
