About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Facades Quantity Surveyor to join our team at CV Library. As a Facades Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in the success of our construction projects, working closely with clients and subcontractors to ensure profitable outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Project Management: Attend tender handover meetings, take responsibility for cost information, and develop close relationships with clients and subcontractors.
  2. Budgeting and Forecasting: Form contract budgets, calculate profit/loss forecasts, and monitor cashflows for projects.
  3. Cost Control: Provide interim cost and value reconciliation, monitor progress, and prepare Applications for Payment and Final Accounts.
  4. Procurement and Subcontract Management: Procure subcontractors, obtain agreement on rates and measurements, and implement payment controls.
  5. Site Progress and Reporting: Monitor progress, report on delays, and prepare prolongation costs for payment.
  6. Communication and Liaison: Liaise and coordinate with all business unit departments to improve communication and benefit the company's objectives.

About You:

  1. Commercial and Technical Knowledge: Strong commercial and technical knowledge to align with key accountabilities.
  2. Leadership and Management: Proven track record of managing commercial staff across multiple sites, with good leadership qualities and sound contract knowledge.
  3. Industry Experience: Experience in residential and commercial sectors using differing construction systems, with knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and policies.
