Your Responsibilities:

This position presents an exciting opportunity to be a prominent member of the Finance team, collaborating with senior budget holders across the organization. You will play a crucial role in delivering services directly to the Veolia Executive Committee. The incumbent will be responsible for various elements of the management accounting reporting processes executed at the Finance Shared Service Centre.

Key Responsibilities Include:

● Preparing Budgets and Forecasts

● Compiling Monthly Management Accounts

● Assisting with quarterly in-depth reviews of Corporate Overhead accounts

● Engaging in Business Partnering

● Facilitating Audits

● Documenting current work processes

As part of a cross-trained team, the role holder will engage in the following duties to varying extents.

  • Professional qualification from a recognized UK accounting body (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Proven experience in managing and motivating teams
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to comprehend the operations of diverse business units

  • Ability to document current work processes in detail
  • Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
