Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Blood and Bone Marrow Transplant team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care to patients with Acute/Chronic Graft Versus Host Disease (GVHD).
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality care to patients with GVHD, including assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of patient care.
- Liaise closely with the AHP team and coordinate care as recommended.
- Provide continued support to patients throughout their GVHD treatment journey.
- Work with the ANP/Senior/Lead nurse and BMT Consultant lead to develop and update documentation against an agreed criterion.
- Provide patients with information, education, and psychological support throughout the course of their disease and treatment.
- Enhance your clinical role by training in practical procedures such as cannulation/venepuncture/chemotherapy/care of central lines and factor concentrate administration.
- Take part in the nurse-led late effects clinic and maintain up-to-date nursing records and care plans.
