Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Supervisor of Cleaning Operations at North Lanarkshire Council. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleaning of our school premises, ensuring they are maintained in a clean and hygienic condition.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the work of cleaning staff to ensure high-quality standards are met.
- Ensure the effective use of cleaning equipment and products, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Collaborate with other teams to resolve any issues or concerns related to cleaning and facilities maintenance.
- Monitor and report on cleaning operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience in a cleaning or facilities management role.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
