About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our Student Support Services team at the University of Leicester. As a Case Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting students who have been affected by unacceptable behaviors such as bullying, harassment, sexual violence, and domestic abuse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Case manage students who require support, assessing and managing risk linked to the student case
  • Provide expert advice and support to students, ensuring timely and appropriate actions are taken
  • Deliver training sessions and awareness programs aimed at preventing unacceptable behaviors and promoting a safe and inclusive environment
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including the Student Union, police, and specialist support services, to ensure a holistic approach to student welfare
Requirements
  • Relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification
  • Demonstrable experience in case management, networking, and collaborative working with diverse stakeholders
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage sensitively with students and staff while maintaining professional boundaries
  • Strong written communication skills, particularly in report writing, and the ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively
