We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Housekeeper to join our team at Anchor Hanover. As a Housekeeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our residential care homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the location is clean, pleasant, and safe for customers in their home environment or communal areas.
  • Use cleaning products effectively, following instructions and health and safety procedures at all times.
  • Report to the Location Manager and work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of cleaning procedures, including the use of equipment such as carpet cleaners.
  • Understand and adhere to data protection and confidentiality policies, as well as safeguarding vulnerable adults.
  • Contribute to the overall well-being and happiness of our residents by providing a clean and comfortable living environment.

Requirements

  • Customer service NVQ2 or equivalent would be advantageous.
  • Previous cleaning experience and knowledge is desirable.
  • Ability to use cleaning products safely and effectively.
  • Knowledge of cleaning procedures and equipment.
  • Understanding of data protection and confidentiality policies.
  • Health and safety awareness, including COSHH.
