Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students with SEN, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  • Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist students with daily living skills, such as organization, time management, and self-advocacy.
  • Collaborate with the SENCO to ensure that students receive the necessary support and accommodations.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure a smooth and supportive learning environment.
Requirements
  • SEN and SEMH training
  • Experience in working 1-to-1 with students
  • Patient, empathetic, and resourceful
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment
