Join Our Team as a Community Dental Officer

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Community Dental Officer to join our team at dentistjobs.co - Jobboard. As a Community Dental Officer, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality dental care to patients with additional needs in the Boston area.

About the Role

This is a part-time position, with 3 or 4 days per week available. The role would be based in Boston, but would require occasional travel across the Lincolnshire service for staff meetings, training, and occasional absence cover. Domiciliary visits are also required more locally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality dental care to patients with additional needs in the Boston area.
  • Work collaboratively with other medical professionals, consultants, and support staff to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and other events to stay up-to-date with the latest developments in community dentistry.
  • Contribute to the development of the service, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
  • Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service, including occasional travel to other parts of the county.

Requirements
  • GDC registered dentists.
  • Active dentist performer number.
  • Experience of providing NHS dental treatment in the UK.
