Position Overview

We are seeking an Access Management Specialist to assist the Chief Information Security Officer in overseeing and reporting on Identity and Access Management (IAM) across Technology Services and Business divisions.

The Access Management Specialist will execute access control measures, including user access assessments, account provisioning and de-provisioning, and the administration of role-based access controls (RBAC).

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate access for new hires, transfers, and departures, working collaboratively with various teams to ensure users have the necessary access to perform their job functions.
  • Conduct regular access recertification and follow-up actions to ensure that access rights are modified based on line manager confirmations.
  • Lead initiatives and play a vital role in empowering users to develop the skills needed for identity self-management.
  • Prepare for and assist with internal and external audits related to access management and IAM procedures.
  • Generate and analyze reports on access control activities, incidents, and compliance status.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with identity and access management.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain IAM policies, standards, and procedures to ensure alignment with organizational processes.
  • Create and deliver training sessions and materials for both end-users and IT personnel.
  • Continuously enhance IAM processes and technologies to improve security and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Experience with IAM tools and platforms such as Active Directory, SailPoint, CyberArk, and Microsoft Azure AD, along with basic PowerShell scripting skills.
  • Understanding of role-based access control (RBAC), attribute-based access control (ABAC), and discretionary access control (DAC).
  • Strong knowledge of information security principles and practices.
  • Familiarity with regulations and standards such as GDPR, NIST, and ISO 27001.
  • Ability to analyze access control data to detect patterns and anomalies.
  • Skills in performing root cause analysis of security incidents related to IAM.
  • Proven experience in swiftly resolving IAM-related incidents and challenges.
  • Ability to communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Commitment to staying informed about the latest IAM technologies and trends to enhance security and efficiency.
