About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at EVolve. As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by planning, testing, and implementing software changes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and document step-by-step test cases based on software requirements.
  • Identify, log, and track defects.
  • Provide reporting on defect tracking and escalate technical issues as needed.
  • Develop and run test scripts to automate manual repeatable tasks.
  • Analyze and report testing results.
  • Contribute to test planning, strategy, and approximation.
  • Develop and maintain testing standards, procedures, and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in IT environment, preferably in automotive or retail sector.
  • Demonstratable experience testing applications in accordance with required functionality and non-functional quality attributes.
  • Certified in ISEB or ISTQB, Tricentis Tosca, or similar.
  • Knowledge of configuration efforts and development.
  • In-depth understanding of testing concepts, including functional, usability, and performance testing.
  • Understanding of basic waterfall and iterative project management concepts.
  • Ability to conduct manual and automated testing.
  • Analytical and logical reasoning, with a high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
