Job Title: Commercial Gas and Oil Engineer

JWB Recruitment is proud to be recruiting for a Commercial Gas Engineer around Cambridge.

The position is for a Commercial Gas Engineer, responsible for the service, breakdown, and repair of boilers within a commercial environment.

You will be working on various commercial sites, including ambulance stations, care homes, housing associations, schools, and colleges around and in between Northampton, Cambridge, Peterborough, and Leicester.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Service and maintain commercial heating systems and building services, including reactive maintenance.
  2. Proactively identify and undertake heating/combustion maintenance works, including reactive works not yet identified by the client.
  3. Undertake heating/combustion PPM work within set time frames to ensure statutory compliance.
  4. Undertake heating/combustion improvement work as required.
  5. Risk assess work/working environments before starting any works to avoid damages or injuries and undertake all work in accordance with Health & Safety and The Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations (GSIUR) 1998.
  6. Manage, control, and be responsible for allocated van stock, ensuring levels are kept as necessary.

  3. Level 2 in Plumbing & Heating
