Patient Experience Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Patient Experience Officer to join our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) team at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide an empathetic and responsive advice service to patients and service users
  • Answer queries, offer advice, and provide information to resolve issues
  • Manage conflict and deal with challenging situations with sensitivity and tact
  • Mediate between parties to resolve problems and improve services
  • Work with a diverse range of people to promote patient voice and feedback

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and manage conflicting priorities
  • Strong patient-focused approach and desire to support accessible services
  • Ability to manage conflict and deal with challenging situations
