Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor to join our team at Blueprint Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of dangerous goods across all modes of transport.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site audits to ensure compliance with ADR and CDG regulations
  • Provide expert advice and support on dangerous goods transport compliance and best practice
  • Assist with incident investigations and prepare reports as required
  • Maintain and develop knowledge of legislation and industry guidance relevant to DG
  • Support the DGSA Manager in all aspects of DG activity
Requirements:
  • DGSA accreditation with experience in all modes of transport
  • Confident in delivering safety advice to all levels of management
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to show initiative and deliver solutions
  • Good planning and organisation skills
  • Flexible to travel within the UK
Qualifications:
  • IOSH and/or NEBOSH qualifications
  • IMDG/IATA/RADAC
  • Audit qualifications
  • RPS
  • Valid, in date, DGSA certificate
  • Registered on UK Government list of DGSA
