The successful candidate will be responsible for providing academic support to students with a wide range of special educational needs. You will work closely with our teaching staff to develop and implement individualized programs, and provide assistance with social skills and behavior management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students in academic and social settings, including classroom, group, and one-on-one instruction
  • Assist with the development and implementation of individualized programs
  • Provide support with social skills and behavior management
  • Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure effective use of support
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in a similar environment or appropriate qualifications
  • Candidates should hold appropriate academic qualifications to at least GCSE standard, professional qualifications to at least NVQ level 3, or be able to demonstrate competency through proven experience in a similar role
  • Basic first aid knowledge
  • Able to work on their own initiative
  • Good time management skills and ability to use time flexibly
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to operate as a member of a busy team
  • Good oral and written communication skills
