Your Role
As more and more patients are treated outside a traditional hospital setting, the role of the home care Nurse is developing. We work in a variety of environments, such as clinics, residential accommodation, and patients' own homes. We are able to treat individuals at school or even in a work environment. Our nurses help the NHS meet the needs of elderly, disabled, or vulnerable patients who may not be able to easily visit the hospital. We are able to help support our patients become more independent in the management of their treatment and to make the whole treatment journey more convenient.
Responsibilities
As a Clinical Homecare Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Performing patient observations and ensuring that any patient is fit to proceed with their treatment.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Monitoring patient vital signs and reporting any changes to the medical team.
- Providing compassionate support to the patient and family.
- Educating patients and their families to promote understanding and independence.
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and ensuring confidentiality of patient information.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams ensuring that patient safety is paramount.
Benefits

- Starting salary circa £36,000 (depending on experience).
- Car allowance up to £6,465 per annum or entry to a salary sacrifice scheme.
- 33 days holiday (including bank holidays).

- Pension - you will be auto-enrolled after 3 months of employment at 5% (with an employer contribution of 4%). You can also opt to increase your contribution to 6% to which the employer will contribute 8%.
