About the Role:
Solo Support Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Healthcare Support Worker. This is a unique opportunity to work with a client who requires personalized care and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-to-one support to the client, assisting with daily living tasks and personal care needs.
- Administer medication and manage the client's PEG feeding regime.
- Support the client with their mobility needs and respiratory care.
- Develop a strong working relationship with the client, their family, and existing support team.
- Participate in team meetings and shadowing sessions to ensure a seamless working relationship.
Requirements:
- Valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle for community access.
- Non-smoker.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to care.
Benefits:
- Competitive hourly rate.
- 20 hours per week, including every other weekend.
- Opportunity for overtime as required.
- 20 weeks' holiday per year (pro rata for part-time positions).
- Access to the Company Pension scheme after 3 months' service.
