We are seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join our finance team at Trinity House Group. As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the CFO in developing the company's financial strategy and ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the group consolidated accounts and support with the subsidiary management accounts
  • Analysis of sales and purchase ledgers
  • Maintenance of the fixed asset register
  • Month and year-end journals
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Payroll Postings
  • VAT/PAYE Returns
  • Maintain and reconcile all monetary bank accounts, petty cash, and credit cards
  • Assist in the preparation of reporting packs with analysis of variances
  • Assist in the preparation of audit files and liaise with the audit team on relevant topics for your role
  • Maintain intercompany loan accounts
  • Provide accurate and sound management reporting to assist the FD in key decision-making
  • Support the FD in budgeting and forecasting

Requirements:

  • Be a part or qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with experience of producing management accounts
  • Have strong technical accounting skills
  • Have strong system skills, especially in MS Excel. Knowledge of Navison/Dyanmics 365 would also be an advantage
  • Be able to work to tight deadlines
  • Be capable of working on your own initiative
  • Be a true business partner to the FD
