As a Supply Chain Optimization Engineer, your role will involve assessing, designing, and enhancing logistics workflows to boost efficiency, minimize costs, and elevate overall supply chain performance.
This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to devise and implement innovative solutions, leveraging data analysis, process modeling, and lean methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Evaluation and Enhancement:
• Perform comprehensive evaluations of existing logistics workflows and systems to pinpoint areas for enhancement.
• Design and execute optimized logistics workflows to improve efficiency and lower operational expenses.
• Apply lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies to refine processes and eliminate inefficiencies. - Project Leadership:
• Oversee and direct logistics process enhancement projects from inception to execution.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to guarantee successful project outcomes. - Data Evaluation and Reporting:
• Gather and assess data to gauge the performance of logistics operations.
• Establish metrics and KPIs to track and report on the effectiveness of logistics workflows.
• Present insights and recommendations to senior leadership. - Technology Implementation:
• Assess and adopt new logistics technologies and software to enhance process efficiency. - Regulatory Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure all logistics workflows adhere to industry regulations and company standards.
