About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled financial model developer with expertise in pensions to contribute to the design, development, implementation, and ongoing support of robust financial models tailored for the pensions market.

You will play a key role in shaping our modeling approaches and become a subject matter expert, sharing your knowledge and contributing to the growth of the team.

Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain software solutions that provide asset allocation strategies, manager performance monitoring, and retirement planning tools.
  • Collaborate with the development team to ensure a thorough understanding of complex financial calculations required for our models.
  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of system design principles and risk considerations relevant to existing financial models.
  • Work effectively within high-performing, multidisciplinary teams comprising developers, delivery leads, testers, and actuaries.

Your Profile

To excel in this role, you likely possess experience in:

  • Actuarial calculations, particularly within the context of Defined Benefit pension schemes.
  • Test-driven development methodologies.
  • Object-oriented programming patterns and approaches, primarily within C# .NET solutions.
  • The Microsoft development stack, including ASP.NET & ASP.NET Core, and/or functional programming experience (F# is a plus).
