Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Software Architect to join our team at GE Aviation. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing embedded software solutions for our products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect and design embedded software systems, including networks, operating systems, and cybersecurity components.
  • Develop and implement software solutions for our products, ensuring high-quality, reliability, and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software solutions with hardware components.
  • Lead small projects and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, applying this knowledge to improve our software development processes and products.
Requirements
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in embedded software development, with a strong focus on architecture, design, and testing.
  • Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions, with a strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
