Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Store Manager to lead our new store in the York area. As a Store Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, improving customer satisfaction, and leading a team of consultants to achieve outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Leadership
    • Manage a team of consultants by training, coaching, and empowering them to provide excellent customer service.
    • Communicate effectively with Senior Managers and Head Office.
  • Store Performance
    • Develop plans and local initiatives to improve store performance and contribute to the company's overall results.
    • Establish efficient operating standards to ensure all operating costs are kept within budget and shrinkage is minimized.
  • Product Knowledge
    • Ensure all products are presented and displayed to their best advantage, correctly coded, and priced with the relevant POS used at all times.
    • Play an integral role in ensuring the store is well-stocked and maintain commerciality in line with company procedures.
  • Staff Management
    • Analyze data to achieve sales and drive KPIs.
    • Actively manage staff recruitment and deliver training, 1-1s, and performance reviews.
  • Legislation and Compliance
    • Be accountable for implementing legislation regarding security and Health and Safety.

Requirements

  • A minimum of two years' experience within Retail Management, either at Store Manager, Assistant Manager, or Supervisor level.
  • Educated to GCSE level or equivalent.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • IT skills, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
