Conveniently located just 14 miles from London, Bombardier's Biggin Hill Service Centre is strategically positioned to provide exceptional support to operators throughout the UK and beyond.

We are currently seeking skilled Aircraft Mechanics to join our new Service Centre at the London Biggin Hill Airport, United Kingdom.

The London Service Centre will be part of a distinguished network of wholly-owned Bombardier Business Aircraft Service Centres, which includes line maintenance stations in Nice, Linz, Milan, and Paris.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to Bombardier's Maintenance Organization Procedures, including relevant sections of the MOE and applicable work instructions.
  • Comply with Environmental, Health, and Safety policies and procedures, actively participating in 5-S activities to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform and document maintenance tasks in accordance with approved maintenance data, such as aircraft maintenance manuals.
  • Identify defective aircraft components using the Material Return Form.
  • Order necessary parts through SAP.
  • Execute maintenance tasks to the standards outlined in the Maintenance Data under the supervision of Certifying Staff/Support Staff, promptly notifying supervisors of any defects or errors that require correction.
  • Report any discrepancies encountered during maintenance.
  • Properly manage removed, uninstalled, and rejected parts.
  • Address defects under the guidance of Certifying Staff/Support Staff.
  • Document maintenance errors accurately.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Possesses civil maintenance experience.
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge as per Appendix I to Part-66.
  • Demonstrates basic understanding of Part-145 regulations.
  • Familiarity with EWIS and CDCCL when applicable.
  • Understands and practices human factors, human performance, and limitations.
  • Ability to interpret and work with engineering drawings effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, regarding individual task status.
  • Proficient in using standard and special tools, as well as operating ground support equipment.
  • Capable of working in accordance with maintenance data and notifying responsible functions of defects or errors requiring rectification.
  • Adept at identifying and rectifying existing and potential unsafe conditions.
  • Experience in understanding critical tasks.
  • Basic PC skills are essential.
