Position Summary:

We are currently seeking two experienced Senior Software Engineers for an initial contract period. These positions offer a hybrid working model, allowing for a blend of remote and on-site collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individual software components as part of a larger system.
  • Engage in various aspects of the .NET development framework or MS SQL, based on your expertise.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proficient in crafting complex data manipulation queries using T-SQL, including stored procedures and functions.
  • Familiar with SQL Server Management Studio.
  • Experience in creating and utilizing Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services packages (2008 and later).
  • Knowledge of normalization techniques and ER-diagramming for designing scalable, high-performance databases.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (Team Foundation Server).
  • Understanding of SOLID principles in software design.
  • Knowledge of HL7 v 2.x and FHIR messaging standards.
  • Experience with Redgate SQL developer tools.
  • Ability to conduct requirements analysis.
  • Familiarity with TSQLT for unit testing SQL procedures.
  • Experience with Unix/PowerShell scripting.
  • Knowledge of High Availability solutions, including Mirroring, Replication, Clustering, and Always On (Availability Groups).
  • Experience with Microsoft Power BI.
  • Proficient in using SQL Server tools such as SQL Server Profiler and Query Analyzer for query tuning and index creation.
  • Experience with .NET Core and XML Web services or Web API.
