Position Overview:
As a Yard Technician, you will be integral to the efficient functioning of our yard operations.

The ideal candidate will undertake various responsibilities that facilitate the effective management and distribution of materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Material Handling:
Receive deliveries, verify accuracy, and organize materials in designated areas.

Client Interaction:
Support customers with loading and unloading their vehicles, ensuring exceptional service and product expertise.

Stock Control:
Monitor inventory levels, report shortages, and assist in maintaining a clean and organized yard.

Order Fulfillment:
Select and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring precision and timely dispatch.

Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine inspections and upkeep of yard tools and machinery.

Safety Compliance:
Follow all health and safety protocols, ensuring a secure working environment for all personnel and clients.

Collaboration:
Work cohesively with fellow team members to guarantee the seamless operation of the yard.

Candidate Requirements:

Physical Capability:
Ability to engage in manual labor, including lifting and transporting heavy items.

Communication Proficiency:
Strong verbal skills to effectively engage with customers and team members.

Detail Orientation:
High level of accuracy and meticulousness in managing orders and overseeing inventory.

Dependability:
Reliable, punctual, and possessing a robust work ethic.

Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in a second language is advantageous.

Working Schedule:
Monday - Friday: 6:30am - 3:00pm
1 in 3 Saturdays: 7:00am - 11:00am

Compensation:

Hourly Wage:
£11.50 per hour
