About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Health Care Support Worker to join our team at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust. As a Health Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients and service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the delegation and supervision of a registered Nurse to undertake defined responsibilities appropriate to your role in the workplace setting.
  • Comply with Trust policies, protocols, guidelines, the fifteen standards of the Care Certificate, and the national strategy of Compassion in Practice.
  • Ensure safe, compassionate, and competent care is delivered to our patients and service users at all times.
  • Support patients and service users with their daily needs, including personal care, mobility, and medication.
  • Work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide a high-quality service.
Person Specification
  • English and Maths qualification at GCSE grades A*- E, 4-9, or Functional Skills Level 1.
  • NVQ Level 2/3 in a Health Related area or equivalent experience.
  • Successful completion of the Care Certificate.
  • Ability to work in a demanding and busy environment.
  • Understanding of the role of the Health Care Support Worker.
  • Ability to manage time effectively.
  • Good customer care skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
