About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at Royal Mail. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for performing a range of inspections, diagnostic, maintenance, and repair procedures on our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks on light and heavy goods vehicles, trailers, and mechanical equipment.
  • Use your own personal toolkit to undertake standard repairs and maintenance.
  • Work on a variety of makes and models, including traditional fuel and electric vehicles.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient and effective vehicle maintenance.
Requirements
  • IMI Level 3 qualified mechanic with experience working on a wide range of vehicles.
  • Valid UK driving licence, preferably with HGV licence and trailer experience.
  • High working standards and ability to work on a flexible shift rota.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
