Job Description

Pursue a rewarding role as a Pastoral Teaching Assistant - Student Mentor, supporting students with diverse needs in a holistic school setting.

Are you a psychology, sociology, or criminology graduate seeking to gain valuable experience in behaviourism?

This role offers a unique opportunity to work alongside professionals, learn from their expertise, and develop your skills in supporting students with SEN / SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with a range of SEN / SEMH needs, working closely with psychological and behavioural professionals
  • Mentor students, using your knowledge and experience to support their development and well-being
  • Work Monday-Friday, 8:30-15:30, with a focus on providing high-quality support to students
  • Collaborate with professionals to make informed decisions about student care and support

Requirements:

  • 1st Class/2:1 in a Social Sciences Degree
  • Strong Academic Record
  • Experience working with children/young people
  • Desirable: experience with additional needs and strong communication skills
