Senior Public Health Engineer

About the Role
  • Project Delivery and Management: Oversee project input from others, ensure timely invoicing, and manage debt chasing to ensure project profitability.
  • Workload and Resource Planning: Support the management of Work-in-Progress (WIP) and forward workload/resource planning for own projects.
  • Design Team and Client Meetings: Attend design team, client, and site meetings as required to ensure project success.
  • Design Quality and Profitable Delivery: Responsible for the design quality and profitable delivery of own projects, demonstrating commercial thinking and client management expertise.
  • Financial Reporting: Timely reporting of project/office financial information to contribute to meeting budget at team level.
  • Project Set-up and Briefing: Set up and brief projects to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Design Quality and Consistency: Coordinate and work with others in the division to maintain design quality and consistency across teams.
  • Integration and Collaboration: Work with other divisions within the company to integrate design and input to deliver a multi-discipline offering.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Relevant qualification(s) at HNC, HND, Bachelors, or Masters level.
  • Experience: Proven Senior Public Health Engineer with a strong track record in the UK on a range of mainstream building services projects.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: An articulate communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills.
  • Personal Qualities: Ambitious and dynamic, with a positive outlook and self-motivation.
  • Professional Development: Ideal candidate will be a Chartered Engineer, an Incorporated Engineer, or working towards full membership with a relevant institution.
